Pros: Pension grand and the room performed well above my expectations. clean, comfortable, friendly helpful owners, not far from the city center. hermannstrasse s & u banhof is just a few minutes away you can reach any part of the city easily, or if you want to have a little fun you can chekh out the many clubs and pubs in neukölln or the neighbouring kreuzberg area.
great place for a great price, ideal for backpackers and young tourists.
Cons: The only minor problems were the following:
- the wlan signal was too weak to reach up to my room so i had to go down to the lobby if i had to use the net.
- the owners didn't really spoke english very well (however they speak fluent russian and of course german).

Pros: i got a double room even though i only paid for a single room, and the staff was very nice. when you also consider that it was very cheap, i was very happy to stay there.

Pros: Good central heating.
Cons: Accidently locked out of my room by another guest on my final night. despite phone calls no response from the main or mobile number of the hotel.
the cost of the room for the night was reimbursed, though no goodwill gesture beyond that, despite my inconvenience.
