"Traveling Alone..."

I would describe the Montebello Splendid Hotel as a Boutique Hotel nestled close to the city center of Florence. It is about 1 km walk or 1/2 mile to the ponte vecchio and literally a stone throw from the train station. The staff were amazing, attentive, and very helpful, and the rooms maintained Florentine charm. The only downside to the room was that they didn't have any bathtubs only showers, however the beautiful location, spacious rooms, and great service well made up for the lack of (bathtub amenities). I will be returning in June and will be statying at the Montebello Splendid Hotel.

"Best choice for money and location"

Pros: Best choice for money and location. hotel to recommend in florence.
Cons: The restaurant is expensive and do not offer choice and variety as expected when you stay few days in same hotel!
