 "Our entire 3 day stay was the best we had in a 2 week italy trip"
Pros: Our entire 3 day stay was the best we had in a 2 week italy trip. the staff was wonderful and extremely helpful. the breakfast and coffee was fantastic considering what you typically get in italy. the location was perfect... a 5 min walk to the duomo and on a side street so no street noise whatsoever. parking is 20 euro per night but standard. a fabulous stay to say the least.
Cons: The only negative i have is that our room was right next to the breakfast room. we could hear people talking and eating their breakfast. their are 3 or wings in the hotel all on the same floor. request a room on a wing away from the breakfast room and you'll be fine.

 "The hotel is charming, comfortable and in a great location"
Pros: The hotel is charming, comfortable and in a great location. all of the staff were very nice and helpful! a bar is available for night caps or coffee. breakfast was plentiful and the breakfast room was very quaint. overall the pictures don't do it justice, it's very nice and well decorated.
Cons: Nothing negative.

Mario's Hotel is situated in central Florence, around 100 metres from the Santa Maria Novella railway station and just a short walk from all the city's most important cultural and artistic sights, such as the magnificent Duomo, the Medici Chapels and important San Lorenzo Basilica. The property features charming rooms and interiors, among which an elegant breakfast room, a bar and a cosy lounge. The friendly and welcoming multilingual hotel staff are always on hand to provide guests with maps of the city and all the necessary information or assistance they may require during their stay.
