 "Mixed Feelings"
The hotel's location allows for access to the subway to where you need to go. I think the decor is a tad too much. And the blankets had a horrible smell. Clean sheets but the blankets need attention. For the size of the twin bed room, maybe a fridge might be a good idea.

Great stay, location was good - only a short walk from the subway at 9th Ave. Breakfast was good but seating was tight when a lot of guests were present.

 "Staying in King Hotel"
Location is very convenient for visitors as hotel is very close to the Subway station. The district itself is not so good. Neighboring restaurants are very specific, we had to go Manhattan for dinner. Breakfast is more than average, at least much better than than in Paris 3 star hotels. Staff is very helpful. Rooms are clean and well equipped.

 "Nice hotel in the neighberhood of metro station"
The people at the desk where very helpfull to us. The neighborhood is als reasenable nice. Some noise from the street came into the room. Airco made a lot of noise but that all over America!!300 meters and there is the metro line D to Manhattan.

It was reall great, very friendly staf.Really nice Location, no noise etc. We are planning to go back next year.Timesquare is only 25 minutes, the metro is 2 min walk.

 "Worth your money, Ideal for visiting the city."
A very nice hotel with clean rooms and a breakfast buffet wich is correct for the price you pay. 110 dollars for two persons in a one kingsize bed double room, 50 % less than in manhatten!!Bagels, yoghurt, coffee and juice, bread, wafels etc.for breakfast at the buffet.There is a parking garage wich i didn't used but it was light and clean.The hotel is good situated at a 5 minutes walk of the nearest subway, 2.25 dollar a ride, who will bring you to manhatten in 25 minutes and even on rush hours its not to overcrowded.If you arrive at JFK take the airway train/metro who will bring you to the hotel in 55 minutes for 7.25 dollar per person. In the neibourhood there are several supermarkets and take aways but there is nothing worth visiting.The neibourhood is a bit industrial but very safe and the people are friendly.If you need information do ask the reception they are verry helpfull and friendly.During the night there is a security gard so you can come in as late as you want.The hotel ideal for a family vacation to vissit New York and if you are there in the summer and it is very hot you can go by subway to conyiland and swim in the ocean and visit the atractionpark 25 minutes metro ride.

Cons: I left the ipad charger mislaid and i have to buy one new. it of course was not a hotel's fault but mine but i would be quite grateful if the hotel were able to send it back to me

 "New hotel, clean and well maintained rooms"
Pros: New hotel, clean and well maintained rooms. helpful, smiling and service oriented lady at the reception while check-in. hotel is 2 blocks away from subway station d - express service to mannhattan (watch out for weekends and current construction, no mannhattan bound trains from this 9 av station, trains go only 1 way from mannhattan). good continental breakfast including yoghurt, fruit. you can make fresh waffles yourself. really good value for money and relatively quick connection to mannhatan.
Cons: The room has no carpet.

 "Friendly and helpful staff and a nice little breakfast buffet"
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff and a nice little breakfast buffet. i was also able to keep some food items in their kitchen as i have food allergies. a nice gesture!
Cons: I found hairs all around my room everyday and some noise problems at night due to staff cleaning in the hallway.

Cons: Extremely loud distubing noises if you know what i mean. a very different type of a hotel experience. big hotel so small rooms.
