"It was warm in the room"
Pros: It was warm in the room.
Cons: The rooms wer really small, the walls are so thin u can hear people, coughing, sneezing, talking and watching tv. the bed was small and it sunk into the middle very uncomfortable. the bed side tables wer too low and close so when u turn around on the bed u hit your head on the corner of the table. food was too expensive for what it was. when the toilet flushed or when the shower was on you would think it was in your room when actually it was people in the next room using their bathroom. there was damp on the ceiling and it looked like someone had painted a white rectangle in the corner of the ceiling. the windows didnt make a difference whether they wer open or closed to drown out the planes flying over. the toilet paper was cheap and rough. one of the lights werent working in the room. there was only 3 channels on the tv and the picture was awful. didnt even get asked when we dropped off our room keys if we had a nice stay, seemed like theyve heard so many complaints that they dont ask the question anymore.

Cons: The shuttle bus was not on schedule and had to wait over an hour at gatwick before going to the hotel.
i was overcharged when checking in even though i had confirmation of the amount that i was to be charged. it was midnight & i needed the room so i had to pay the extra.

Cons: Room was old, not in the actual hotel - glass door of my room opened straight to the courtyard (it looked more like a converted garage). curtains on the door didn't close properly so interior was visible to outside all the time. general dampness in the air. poor excuse for a bathroom. i don't believe that the fact that i stayed there for only one night justyfies hotel's decision to allocate me room of the poorest quality. i still needed a good night sleep which i didn't. oh. and the free airport shuttle bus. it ain't free from hotel to airport. £5.
i don't know how this hotel is for longer stays but for transit - terrible experience.

"When i rang reception to say the water wasn't hot, they immediately gave me..."
Pros: When i rang reception to say the water wasn't hot, they immediately gave me another room (bigger and better)
Cons: The rooms are overheated on entering. the first room had damp on the ceiling and stank of fungus. the plumbing is not very good.

"Hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient"
Pros: Hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. we stayed here prior to a flight out of gatwick and it was very handy. good shuttle service to and from airport - there is a displayed fee in the hotel for the shuttle to the airport but check your reservation - it may say free shuttle service in which case you do not have to pay this fee. overall not bad for an overnight stay.
Cons: Bathroom - shower very small, water pressure next to non-existant, water not very hot so the shower was not a pleasant experience. tv is advertised, but - very few channels and the picture and sound quality extremely poor. restaurant is over lit - too bright, especially for a dinner experience. no elevators to the upper floor.
