4 Star Hostel Piccadilly London    

The location is perfect but there is no room where we can have a sit, watch TV, discuss with other people...except the bedrooms so we never stayed too long at the hostel during the day. The rooms were clean but the bathroom was not always very clean.

I arrived around midnight which I had called about in advance. To my surprise there was no hostel in the location said but a nightclub with quite the line. So I went to one of the guards and asked him where the hostel was? To my surprise he said that it was there and let me pass the line. We went down in to the cellar which was some sort of restaurant and pre room to the nightclub, the guard left me there so I grabbed the next staff looking person I could see, an old russian dude. He was surprised and a little annoyed that I had arrived so late but gave me information and charged me for my stay. Then I went back into the lobby and took the elevator to the top floor, there was two floors here with 6 rooms with bunkbeds, and only one working bathroom. The areas seemed clean, so did the beds and the room didn't get warm or anything but the city noises do keep you awake, also when anyone uses the bathroom or the elevator there are really loud noises. Over all this is a great hostel if you are just looking for a place to crash between your late flight and getting up right into the city, the location is fabulous and the price is good. I wouldn't stay here if I was staying for a few nights since the sleep quality isn't very good and the staff or the establishment runs the hostel more like a side business which affects the service. It was clean though.

Great location! Walking distance to tourist attractions (Convent gardens, Soho, Oxford Cirus, River Thames ect), restaraunts and bars. Staff were friendly, accomodating and helpful! They even directed us to a small cafe where the owner was a friend and upon asking for him by name, he came out and made us breakfast even though it was past the hours breakfast was available! It wasn't busy when we stayed, just my friend and I and one other girl on the all girls floor so it was clean and quiet but beds are like sleeping on boxsprings so don't count on the best sleep....

everythingwas very good, and preaty quiet, but there was no refugerator to keep things in and not enough bathrooms.

In my opinion the most important thing for a place to stay is cleanliness and this was it. The beds were so soft and odorous :) The only thing I didn't like is (but I read it before and I knew it) was that there are only two bathrooms for so many girls and you have to wait to have a shower or brush your teeth in the morning. Some girls stay inside for 20 min and then this is a problem because the others are waiting. I also didn't like carrying my heavy bag down the stairs and not being offered any help from the man at the reception. But all in all, good place for a short ! trip.

Wouldn't recommend staying here for more than 2 nights, request one of the smaller bedrooms if possible as the four of us where in the big 26 bed room and although it was quiet to begin with it got busy and sleep was interupted and the queue for the bathroom was ridiculous. It was clean though and didn't have any issues with cleanliness. In a good location and can get around easily. Can't use the kitchen it's locked- this would of been better for us as we stayed for a while and its expensive to eat out in london every night!!! Overall we enjoyed our stay but was glad to get out after so long. Living out of a suitcase is difficult. Don't attempt to order a cup of tea. We didnt use the restaurant but when asking for a cup of tea, they didnt seem to know what it was so I'd go out to eat and drink. But again for 1 or 2 nights it would be fine.

Ok so it is a little strange when you walk in and see your are above a club and a resturant but then you get upstairs and the bathroom is massive with heated floors, it has shampoo's body wash and other items if you forget yours. The staff are great the rooms are clean, beds are comfy everyone is in a great atmosphere as it is all girls and everyone is just at piece feeling free to do your hair and make up with no worries.You do have to pay for your own towels(i bought my own) and there is a curfew at 3am to get back into the hostel otherwise you will be locked out all night untill miday and also there is not really a saftey net as it is an elevaor ride to everyones rooms with no keys so anyone can walk in at anytime and take your stuff(i put a lock on my bag) but not to say they cant just take your whole bag down the elevator...but reception make you aware of this immedietly and offer to hold your personal items which are of value and importance.I loved this place!!!

Pros: Room was very clean. location of the hostel was excellent. staff was nice and helpful.
Cons: There were no locks in the doors. can`t get in to hostel after 3am. kitchen could be more equipped.

Pros: the location was amazing but i would not stay there again.
Cons: The staff were really grumpy and unpleasant. i was not allowed to use the communal kitchen as the stove and fridge were out of order.

Cons: For the 60+ guests at the hotel there are only 3 bathrooms and the worst problem is that the toilet facilities are in the same room as the showers so that there is always a queue for the loo. in addition there is a curfew and guests have to be back by 0300. if i had known this i wouldn't have booked as the whole point of staying in the centre was to go out clubbing and not have to come home so early

Pros: This was so convenient to central london and i felt very safe there. the other guests were friendly and the internet service was the easiest i have found on my trip. it was very clean.
Cons: Beds are a bit lumpy but when you are as tired as i was it did not matter much.

Pros: The bathrooms were nice.
Cons: You should get a change to get later in the hostel. it is closed between 3 - 9 am. if you miss the spot to be back by 3 you lock yourself out until 9 am

Pros: Nice and clean, great bathroom area, nice and new, good bedding, best location
Cons: One 3 bathrooms for all travelers, would be bad if full but we only had about 5 people in a 16 bed room, not being able to get in until noon if you o in the morning

Pros: Nice
Cons: They did not spread out hostelers even though there were empty rooms

Pros: Very good price for the location
Cons: Only one bathroom for 14 beds...
