Contro: Sconsiglio vivamente di pernottare presso il mint hotel amsterdam in quanto nel quore della notte venivo svegliato da un addetto al personale che tentava di introdursi illecitamente nella mia camera.
risultato: notte in bianco e grande arrabbiatura. signori.... andate da qualche altra parte.

"Great Hilton hotel everything we could ask for"

The hotel was excellent from arrival to departure. Easily the most accessible hotel in Amsterdam. Next door to central station, nearly next door to the city. Staff were the most helpful I have ever come across and I would definitely stay again, my friends have already been told where to stay when they visit

"Okay for a short stay"

Great location next to Central train station. Walking distance to the city centre and main tourist attrations. Proximity to train station meant 24/7 noise in rooms facing harbour (train tracks) and not such a good sleep! Small rooms, simply finished and furnished but adequate for a short stay. Mini bar very basic, no drinking glasses or cups supplied only paper cups. Selection of cafe / restaurant eating options within the hotel with many other options close by. Pleasant and helpful staff.Chose Double Tree over Hilton for location but would forego this for the higher standards of the HIlton next time.

"Fabulous except the bed!!"

Wonderful hotel, fantastic service only small gripe was the bed. It was a queen sized bed which was fine except it didn't fit the bed surround, the bed was lower & narrower & my partner banged his head on the bed surround drawer!! The bed also moved very easily which is great for the cleaning staff but not when you are sleeping & your partner sits down on the bed which then moves within the surround & you bang your head!! Next time I will opt for a king size bed which should fit. Great location 2-3 minutes walk from Centraal Station.

"Outstanding!"

Outstanding hotel! Brilliant staff, cookie on arrival very nice! If you have room at the back by the train lines, the walls are sound proofed, but means no windows but there is fresh air coming through a vent.Overal, OUTSTANDING!!!!!!

"Lovely!"

I have never been happier with a hotel. The location was perfect, the staff were all extremely friendly and spoke perfect English. Not the cheapest hotel you could stay at but for the comfort and quality we received, definitely worth the price we paid. Found some stunning views of the city from one of the smoking balconies - we will definitely be staying at doubletree Hilton hotels again!

"What you expect from the Hilton brand"

If you're prepared to spend the extra cash for a tad more luxury then the Hilton is everything you'd expect from a 4/5 star hotel. Clean rooms, free WiFi, tea & coffee making facilities, super comfortable bed, fluffy towels & toiletries. The room service is restaurant quality & not bad value.

"Amazing stay!"

Myself and 6 other friends stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Everything about the hotel was brilliant. Will definetley be recommending it and returning myself again soon! P.S the welcome cookie is spectacular, I purchased 2 tins of them to bring to the UK with me :)

"Perfect!!"

I had never stayed in a Doubletree by Hilton before this but if they are all as brilliant as this one I will definitely be staying with them again. The only fault I could possibly give it was that the bed was soooo comfy and didn't want to leave it in the morning, not a good thing when your only away for the weekend. There isn't a chance I would stay anywhere else on my next return to Dam, perfect walking distance from everything and far enough away that everything isn't in your face.

"The sky bar tops the hotel"

Excellent but pricey. Fantastic bar on roof of hotel. Breakfast wasn't included but we were selected as guests of the day (probably a gimmick) and we could choose a perk - we chose to include breakfast which was welcome after the night before...

"Wonderful stay atop the Doubletree Amsterdam"

The hotel is located in a great spot to view the my favorite parts of the City. The computer in the room, an iMac, that also doubled as a TV, was a great accessory. Also, the staff were were absolutely great.

Pros: Apple imac/internet in room very useful, room was clean, modern fittings that you'd expect in brand new hotel, should have been really good location as close to the station but.......
Cons: Very noisy through the night if you want to sleep avoid this hotel. at times it felt like i was sleeping in a train station.. why didnt they sound proof this hotel ?? prices in skybar very expensive and the service was terrible, waited too long for service, then burgers we ordered were awful. real shame as it had excellent views over amsterdam.
