 "Don't hesitate, just book"
The location is perfect (literally right in front of the metro stop Ottaviano) and two blocks from the Vatican, the rooms clean and beautiful. The staff are also very helpful, they arranged a booking for Galleria Borghese and gave us directions to get there.Don't hesitate. Book!

 "Great B & B by the Vatican"
We spent 2 nights at the Federici during our first trip to Rome in October. It is located directly across the street from the Metro stop (Ottaviano). Just find building #151 and find the name Federici on the wall and ring the bell. The owner/manager, Fabio, will arrive to bring you in. The quaint B&B occupies the 2nd and 3rd floor of an apartment building. There is a lift (elevator) to bring your luggage upstairs. Fabio will give you a tour of the facilities. Our room for 90 Euros per night had a very comfortable queen size bed and a recently remodeled bathroom. The walls were freshly painted. The room looked out on to an interesting enclosed courtyard of cafes, apartments, and hotel rooms. There were balconies with laundry hanging from them and people sitting on them. At night you could hear the many sounds of the courtyard, but it quited down by 11:00. It wasn't the Marriot, but it was the Rome I wanted to see. In the mornings, Fabio served a great breakfast around a large table. We shared the breakfast with others from Denmark, Spain, Taiwan, Germany, and the US. Luckily for us, English was the common language. Fabio also planned walking tour of the historic sights for us and suggested cafes to eat at. It was located within a short walking distance of the Vatican. All in all, it was a great stay in Rome. We were sad to leave so soon.

 "Pleasant stay"
We had a very pleasant stay at Frederici's. The location is quitte close to metro and busses, the rooms spacefull and very, very clean, the breakfast more than ok and the owner Fabio is a great host, kindly, helpfull and his dinnersuggestions we can recommend. We love Rome and the stay at Frederici makes our vacation complete, we will come back!
