 "close to being really nice"
market place location was picture postcard. the outside of the Hotel looked perfect...BUT. the inside had paper peeling from walls, plaster flaking in bathroom, dirty marks on the bath. only a hand held shower, bed was far too soft, every change of position meant uncontrollable rolling together . evening meal was poor. gristle in my starter and several pieces of plastic still attached to the meat. main courses were nice but lacked much accompanying veg. check in was simple and quick, as was check out, but the ?manager lacked warmth and genuine friendliness. simple easy fixes could bring this hotel up to a 5/5 rating
