 "Friendly staff"
We stayed one night: late arrival and early departure to catch a plane. We left before breakfast time, but the lady on duty got up and prepared a breakfast for us anyway, and was very helpfull in arranging transportation to the airport, so our points goes to her.The room was more fashion than function - nice furniture, but a few things need fixing - and there was a noise from some unidentifiable electric device.

 "Wonderful stay in the very center of Roma!"
Chroma suits are great choice for a nice vacation in the great Roma.The rooms are clean,modern and cosy.But the best deal is their location-few meters from Santa Maria basilica and Termini railway station which has direct connection by train or by bus to the airoport.We will come again to these hotel.Thank you!

 "Where's my living room?!"
We booked the "Ruby Fountain" suite, mainly because the pictures on the website clearly show a separate living area and bedroom. Our first disappointment was that as soon as we arrived, we noticed that the living area has gone! The owners have turned what was the bedroom into a kitchen, blocked off the wall in between the two rooms, and moved the bed into what was the living area. We felt very conned about this as the pictures of the original configuration are still on the current version of the website.Secondly we had a problem with our shower - it did not drain quickly enough and the water very quickly overflowed the tray and caused a flood all over the bathroom floor. We informed the staff about this on the first night but the guy didn't seem in the slightest bit interested and indeed, he did nothing about it. We mentioned it again on the way out but once more we received a blasé response and no hint of apology.Our room was opposite a communal area, which was a bit of a pain if other guests were staying up late chatting, but mostly we managed good nights sleep.The final disappointment with the room is that there is no window. Again, on the website, it looks like there is a window with a blind over it in the bedroom, but as previously mentioned, this room is no longer part of the suite. It meant we didn't really want to spend much time in the room and ended up using the communal area.All in all we do not think that the Chroma Suites are all they are cracked up to be, they are very much deliberately misleading customers via their website and I would not recommend staying here to anyone. My advice would be to find one of the many "traditional" hotels in Rome.

Close to Parco di Traiano, Chroma Suites Rome is located in the south-east of the city centre, with good access to numerous historical attractions. From here it is easy to walk to the Colosseum, Forum Romanum and Palatino. Basilica de Santa Maria Maggiore is a short walk up Via Merulana, and nearby Piazza Vittorio holds the largest food market in Rome every day except Sunday.

A stylish contemporary accommodation, Chroma Suites follows a philosophy of colour-based therapy, presenting a chromatically themed establishment replete with modern conveniences. Five different shades of opulence are available at Chroma Suites Rome. Guests can choose between Ruby, Emerald, Turquoise, Purple and Maraschino schemes to match their desire. The rooms are heated and air conditioned, and a range of modern comforts is also provided, including a flat screen television, CD player, minibar and a work desk. Room service, maid service and wake-up calls are also available.

This Rome hotel has an excellent location for access to historical monuments. The Arch of Constantine, Colina Palatina and Colosseum lie before Circus Maximus, heading south-west of the hotel. Victor Emmanuel Monument, Campidoglio and the Capitoline Museums are due west and Basilica de Santa Maria Maggiore lies a short walk to the north. The Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano is within walking distance to the south. Roma Termini station is accessible on foot to the north and for access around the city centre, Vittorio E metro station is only a few minutes’ walk from the hotel.
