"Ace Hotel"

Best hotel stay I have ever had. I took my husband for his birthday and we loved it. The room was comfortable and so well designed. Amazing coffee and pastries at Stumptown, and excellent lobby bar. I would go back in a heartbeat.

"Hotel ACE"

We find this hotel is only for young people, we too women are a little bit older! We have had a room in the second floor just above the entrance and it was very loud during the night, because of people talking! The room was very small, the bed was very small! We are dissapointed because they say its 4****I can´t see were the 4 stars are!!!...the music in the lobby cafe was very very loud, we could hear it in the room too!

"Had a great time"

The walls / doors let a little bit too much sound through, but everything else was terrific. Great room, great shower, I love all the ace hotel flavor in every corner of the experience. Cheers and good day!

This hotel has it all. Great location, an amazing coffee house, 2 terrific restaurants, cool rooms with a great minibar & a friendly super helpful stay. Love this place. It's a home away from home for me.

"Great place to stay"

The hotel is very hip, the staff is taking care and the rooms are spacious for a new york hotel. I had a turntable in the room with a couple of record that were a good selection of classic to contemporary music. The room was very clean. The only downside was the price and the fact that the hotel was at 29th and broadway, not the best neighborhood but also far from a bad neighborhood. Walking distance for most nice places in NYC or at least the subway at 28th and broadway.

"Ace Hotel stay in NYC"

Great service - staff friendly and helpful. Good location and room a decent size for a solo. Metro was around the corner on 28th street and made everything easily accessible. Would recommend for sure.

"Good stay"

Very trendy place which is well situated in midtown west. Good modern decor and furniture, comfortable bed. Aircon noisy and did not cool very well; price for a bottle Of water was outrageous at $8, in my view water in room should be complementary like wifi access which worked well. Nice bathrobe provided. Overall rathe dimly lit ambience, bit too dark yo my taste. The main room or lobby downstairs is a zoo on Friday night when the young crowd come drinking after work. I avoided the mayhem by retreating to my room. All considered, I recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

"Simply superb!"

We stayed during Sandy but the staff had a sense of calm which was reassuring to say the least! Hotel was perfectly located halfway between wall street/financial district and times square etc so that even with no subway/no buses, we managed to get around. It is a very cool hotel! No suited bell boys or doormen - the staff look and feel like your mates!! The lobby is really like a bar/coffee lounge for people with apple macs and iPhones. It's a bit on the dark side but really cosy and funky - great for people watching. Once in the room, tranquility prevails and again, so funky with the big smeg fridge for a mini bar, vinyl record player and the hotel info booklet was a funny read in itself. Loved it and when you told the locals where you were staying they all knew it to be a very cool and happening place. By the way you don't have to be cool and happening yourself to stay there - we aren't! Anywhere that signs your bill off 'thank you for sleeping with us' has to be worth a visit so definitely book The Ace.

"Probably the coolest hotel in the world"

Great hotel. Central NYC locale, great bar and restaurant attached, the most AMAZING stumptown coffee to ease in the day, and apparently staffed exclusively by hipsters. The rooms are comfortable, safe, and all individually decorated (I stayed in two rooms, both great). The 'small' and 'medium' rooms are perfect for solo stays, but are definitely big enough for a couple too.This hotel is upmarket but laidback and cool.

"Loved the stay"

As we arrived, we were welcomed with vey friendly staff, our room was spacious with beautiful furniture and amenities. We also enjoyed the cafe, reatraunts and bar in the hotel, the standards were really high. We are from London, but we thought even in London, we can't find such a hotel.Only thing let us down was the noise of elevator early morning, our room was 1201 just in front of the elevator, that disturbed our sleep a few times, apart from that we are happy!

"HIp Joint"

Wow, we knew that this place was going to be fun but we had no idea how hip The Ace truly is. We arrived around 9:30pm and stayed up until 2am (hanging out in the lobby). We ate at the Breslin which is the resto attached to the hotel. We then spent time in the lobby which is a meeting place/bar/lounge for the locals. The DJ played fabulous music and the crowd milled about. Our room was very cool. Record player, old fridge, very retro bathroom. The king bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet and dark at night. We loved the little sayings found all over the hotel on walls etc.

Four blocks down from the Empire State Building, Ace Hotel New York is located in the heart of Manhattan’s Midtown, close to the Theater District.
