 "short stay"
in middle of renovation in the front entrance and reception.would have liked to know before hand and decide whether to stay or not. close walking distance to most sites except the old town , you need at least a good half hour ,but walking along the river boardwalk can be very pleasant if the weather permits. Near good tapa places to eat and all the shopping you want as well. Breakfast at hotel was pleasant and of good quality. Rooms are ordinary and not for lounging around unless maybe you can get a superior or suite which were unavailable during our stay.Car parking is a pain as you have to go around the whole block and park yourself and pay 20 euros a day...no near outside parking in the vicintiy. last but not least a great michelin star restaurant close by in the paiace of congress.
