This was my first visit to Barcelona, and i went there for a short trip with my daughter. I wonder is there is any better place to stay in Barcelona for a few days, than in the Barceloneta area, seconds walk away from the local tapas bars, and just about 5 minutes walk through a beautiful park to the beach. So far fot the location of Residencia Campus de Mar.The residence itself went beyond our expectations: you get a bedroom with perfect beds, a living room with anything you could wish, a kitchenette and a bathroom. The best thing is that the nights are so quiet that you can really sleep with the windows opened. :-) Further, everything is clean, the people from the residence are friendly, helpful, easy-going, and accurate.

The room was part of a University. They just rent the rooms not occupied by students.Reception was very friendly and spoke good English.In the room was a fridge and a stove, Internet by LAN.Breakfast was just a basket with food in the fridge every day.Location is good with bars and restaurants in the area. It's between 2 subway stations, 10 min walk away. Busses are closer and a better option.

Was impressed with the friendliness and efficiency of reception staff. The procedure of admission, the conditions of my stay, the quality of room, were all as advertised. I used the gym room, the laundry room, and I asked to use the iron and ironing board and was given them immediately. I had no problem with the internet access in my room. I was very pleased with the how well maintained the whole building was. I was very pleased that the building was within two minutes of the beach, and that the Metro was also within a couple of minutes. I would happily recommend the Residencia to anyone!

The rooms at the Campus del Mar were basic but comfortable and fully provided with cooking facilities. The location was excellent, close to the beach, but within easy reach of the centre. Not a normal hotel, as it also functions as a student hall of residence, but excellent value for money.

This is a nice hotel. In a convenient location. Located in the fisherman's quarter. 200 meters from the sea. Settled in very quickly. I liked it very much recommend it.
