"Met the need we had for overnight lodging"

We were in Copenhagen for one day before boarding a cruise ship. Hotel Windsor was very easy to get to from the airport even with all our luggage. Pierre was so kind and helpful and energetic! - as far as we are concerned he made the place. Two downers: no elevator with many steps and shared bathroom.

Pros: The included breakfast each morning was great
Cons: The bed mattresses were flimsy and uncomfortable. the same goes for the pillows.

Within walking distance from it, the Botanical Garden is a gorgeous park with a large collection of living plants and, not far from here, Copenhagen Strøget is the longest pedestrian street in Europe. Only five minutes walking from Hotel Windsor, the picturesque and suggestive Nyhavn (New Port) is one of the best areas in the city to have a drink on summertime.
