"Fabulous Experience"

"friendly helpful staff, good location, clean and modern hotel"

spent a weekend here and would highly recommend. A short walk from central station means it's easy and cheap to find. Staff couldn't be more helpful or friendly. Lovely modern room. Didn't have food so can't comment as thought breakfast was a little pricey for what we wanted, however restaurant looked lovely and the menu looked fantastic.

"Birthday Break"

Took my wife to this lovely hotel for her birthday had she never been and the location was excellent. Located walking distance from train station , restaurants and even the nightlife inc red light district. The staff was 100% helpful with everything you need spoke excellent English and looked after my wife being it was her birthday. Rooms cleaned every day this is the best hotel money can buy. I recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying at Amsterdam

"Good location"

I stayed at the crown plaza for 2 nights. It was in a good location right next to the station and not to far from there square but there was no noise at night so you could sleep fine. Room was a good size, nice and clean too. I would go back to this hotel.

"Shame about the wifi"

Nice hotel but at the price of the rooms I feel Wifi should be complimentary. The rooms in the quiet area were very quiet which was great

"surprisingly good"

The service was great, very helpful staff & good restaurant & a good location. I will stay there again. The rooms are typical business but with good facilities, shame that they still use shower curtains in this day & age because that is a real let down.

"Perfect stay"

We were 5 days in Amsterdam. The hotel is absolutely perfect in every regard. It lies very centrally and one can reach everything on foot.The staff is very friendly, the room is furnished fantastically and clean. Food tastes very well. With the next stay in Amsterdam we will book it again.

"Hard to beat"

Excellent location very close to central station. Very helpful staff who spoke very good English and went out of their way to make us welcome. This is my second stay here and I would definately stay here again if back in town. Breakfast is expensive if not included in the room price- we ate in a patisserie close by!

Pros: Staff were warm and welcoming, and made an enjoyable stay. rooms are nice and quiet which ensures a relaxing stay.
Cons: Resturant area was looking a little tired, and in need of fresh rennovation (although great serive from all the staff)

Pros: The location was excellent; the room was very good indeed and the bed was one of the best i've slept on in a hotel. the quiet zone is a great idea and highly commendable.
Cons: The only negative thing - and it is a very small thing - is that there were no tissues in the bathroom. this is such a small thing that it hardly merits mentioning at all.
