Cons: Room service took 1hr 20mins to deliver (by 2 people) breakfast with no cutlery - it took a further 30 minutes for the cutlery to finally arrive at which point the breakfast was cold. breakfast had then closed and therefore on new years day we had no breakfast and nowhere else was open to eat.
the staff were pretty useless, the manager was predictably friendly and apologetic, however the resolution was to return £30 into my account which i have not had yet. he also thought it would be a good idea to bring the bill out and show me and my girlfriend - the trip was a bit of a present and therefore i'd of preferred her not to see the bill.
would i go back? absolutely not - 5* rating is a complete joke. whilst not everyone can be happy with service, you do have certain standard expectations on basic service levels which were so far off the mark (premier inn may have been a better choice).
