Leonardo Hotel Venice  

Pros: When asking staff about venice very very informative the knowledge of the city was first rate
Cons: Had a safe but had no key but assured us in 25 years nothing had gone missing and nothing did .

Pros: The day i checked out they let me leave my bag in the hotel till the evening when my train was due.

Pros: Lovely bedroom (rm 24) great location.
staff very friendly and helpful
Cons: Breakfast not so great, only bread and jam, fruit juice, tea or coffee

Pros: The hotel was located in a good part of the city and close to the bus station. we were licated in the newly referbished branch of the hotel and the rooms were nice, big and clean. if do recommend this hotel and will go back if i visit venice again.
Cons: The breakfest was not much, bread and butter.

Pros: Excellent location and very friendly and helpful staff. couldn't get much better

Pros: Good location, near the train station. nice part of venice - not as 'hectic' and a quieter atmosphere to walk in the evenings etc. staff helpful, handed out maps and told us what to cover in the 3 days, prices of waterbuses, where to get the right waterbus, what islands to explore etc. room large. breakfast ok, pretty standard - bread, juice and coffee. were able to leave our baggage on check-out day, as we didn't have a train connection until 9.30 pm, and they were perfectly ok with this, so definite positive if you have late plane/train connections.
Cons: Room wasn't cleaned on 1 day, as the cleaner 'ran out of time'. there was a restaurant directly below our window, but admittedly the noise wasn't too bad. no hot water in the mornings - take this as a serious warning!! walls are like rice paper - you can hear everything going on in the next room. can get cold if they forget to turn on the heating.

Pros: The staff was very helpful and kind.

Cons: Had to turn key in to hotel as you left the building. they also had a 1:00 a.m. curfew which was irritating . . . we were in venice!
