Excellent location - so close to Paddington Station.Helpful staff with all queries.Recommend the Lebanese Restaurant - two doors towards the Station.

Pros: Good value for money in a great location just a few yards from paddington station. lovely, fresh breakfast with waitress service - a rarity these days !!
Cons: The bathroom was very small and located in what looked like a cupboard !!

Pros: Staff were friendly, breakfast basic but good. bed ok
Cons: Broken lift was a nightmare - 4 stories of old windy narrow staircases with a heavy bag is enough to give someone a heart attack.. room was tiny - just room to lay a bag on th floor, although it was reasonably clean.

Cons: The room was very small - there wasn't a lift - when taking a shower (in a bathroom the size of a large refrigerator)water went all over the floor. my room was facing a construction sight, and heat was either off totally or on totally

Pros: Location, cleanliness, price/quality (47 gbp per single room, one night) ok, quality isn't outstanding but at this price in london is more than decent an hotel

Pros: Nice and close to paddington which was what we wanted as we were catching a train to reading the next day. they let us leave us bags there during the day.

Pros: Convenient for paddington station, cheap, plenty of places to eat within meters.
Cons: You get what you pay for, warm when i was there but windows are single glazed and draughty. lots of stairs and passage ways, breakfast a small ok.

Cons: The rooms were rather very small and difficult to have a decent shower. possibly redecoration. because of our ages we would have preferred a lower room, but nevertheless walking up the stairs was good exercise!

Cons: The royal norfolk was terrible! the hotel is extremely run-down and dirty and in need of repair. the room i was in was so small as to not allow me to unpack my bags! instead i had to stack suitcases by the door just to allow space to stand in the room (i am not kidding.) the "bathroom" was actually not a proper bathroom, rather a prefab kit of some kind that was smaller than the bathroom i had on the cruise i had just returned from. it was so small you there were just inches of floor space, which was covered with water the moment you turned on the shower. truly awful experience. as soon as i saw the room i immediately went out to find another hotel room, but due to wimbledon, all hotels in london were fully booked and i had no choice but to stay in this room. i was so upset i considered calling my credit card company to deny the charges from the hotel as what they represent on their website would almost qualify as fraud from my perspective.
