 "Different room due to broken pipe"
Due to a broken pipe (?!), we could not get the booked double room but a much smaller one with a rather short bed (1,90 m x 1,60 m I guess). It was not very convenient to sleep in this short bed and small room. The free WiFi was not available in that room. As far as we could see, the regular rooms are quite ok. The location is perfect, right in the center of Porto.

 "The hotel was located close to the metro stop so it was an easy 5 min walk..."
Pros: The hotel was located close to the metro stop so it was an easy 5 min walk away. the location was great as it is just around the corner from the cathedral and the tower, although a bit of a walk away from the river front. the staff was very nice and helpful with directions and returned my emails regarding how to get there very promptly. the breakfast was better then the other hotels that i had stayed in spain and lisbon. overall i'd recommend this hotel!
Cons: No tea/coffee making machine in the room. however, i had not stayed at one in spain nor portugal that had one!
