 "Pleased with this hotel."
We stayed five nights. The decor is very modern. The location is great, with walking distance to many attractions. The room was clean. The room was on the small side which didn't bother me with the excpetion of the very limited closet space. We had clothes hanging everywhere. We stayed in the "Wonderful Room" and later saw our friends' room which was smaller, called the "Cozy Room", but strangely their closet was bigger. So if closet space is important get the smaller room or upgrade beyond the Wonderful Room. Bathroom was small too, only enough room for one to get ready at a time. By the way, no bed bugs. Beds were comfortable except I am not a fan of feathers and the mattress pad was stuffed with feathers. Rooms were serviced everday and the housekeepers are super...very accomodating and pleasant. The concierge never steered us wrong when it came to restaurants. Thanks to them we had some amazing meals. Bar area was a great lively place everynight. With a few things mentioned above, overall I was pleased with our hotel stay, I just prefer more closet space.

Grand Central Station is the station that is easiest to reach if you come by public transport. Radio City Music Hall and Times Square are both just a short walk away from here. St Patrick's Cathedral is a landmark close to this accommodation; Chrysler Building and Rockefeller Center are nearby as well. If you're in town for a conference in Madison Square Garden, its accessible on foot from here.

Common areas including a restaurant, a bar/lounge, and even a library, are accessible at W New York. A sauna, a spa/wellness center and a steam room are all part of this accommodation's wellness facilities. A limousine service is part of the services here, and so are a bell boy service and a late check-out option. New York shopping is good, but on the premises you also find a gift shop.
