 "Acceptable for staying for 1 night"
The hotel was ok for a night, but the staff was not existant. I tried to call the reception desk to get WiFi, but they didn't pick up. The area the hotel is in seemed to me a bit dodgy. Wouldn't spend too much time there... It was good enough for the night, before driving out to the airport though.

 "It was clean"
Pros: It was clean. cheap, "the pursuit of happyness" was filmed there.
Cons: The staff was f-ing terrible! they did not give us what we expected and they charged us for every little thing that a normal hotel would provide freely. for some reason they hoarded cans and bottles and stored them right outside the back windows which was an eye sore and gave off a weird smell. mostly the front desk lady was a miserable woman un- willing to compromise and insisted that we pay up front instead of at the time of check out, which was never mentioned on the website. the location is far from everything san francisco has to offer, so if you want a true san francisco experience stay closer to city center.

 "The room was clean, large, and comfortable"
Pros: The room was clean, large, and comfortable.
Cons: There was a lot of late-night noise from other occupants or friends of occupants. the continental breakfast was pretty lacking; the coffee was terrible, and there was only cereal, oatmeal, bread, and peanut better for breakfast selections.
