 "Very nice but not 5 star quality but no better hotel in Oxford"
The hotel is very centrally located and on the whole the service was good. The only let down was service at Breakfast which tended to be very average - they were slow to see that you needed more tea/coffee or toast (and slower to bring it when you asked for it). Food was however excellent and the hotel was spotlessly clean. The service at breakfast put my wife and I off booking in for dinner!

 "Not a five star hotel"
The location is perfect for visiting Oxford but this is definitively not a five star hotel. It needs a serious refurbishing. The bathroom was very dated and the insonorisation is very poor. You hear everything isaid in the corridor.

 "Poor room for a 5star hotel"
The room was too small, the magnetic key didn't work properly and I had to go downstairs 2 times in 3 days to fix the key, and the price was too high for the quality obtained. The hotel is welllocated and the service at reception and concierge was good (not for the room service which was very bad...).
