 "Otakon weekend"
My friends and I were in Baltimore for the Otakon convention. The location of the hotel was convenient in relation to the convention center. It was pretty clean, except for the actual housekeeping. She did the bare minimum in our room. The room was good. The lack of a toilet lid coupled with the clean towels being put on top of the toilet was probably not the best idea. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and a nice touch. I would say my two biggest issues are as follows. Being charged for drinking the two bottles of water that were in our room. I have stayed at countless hotels where water and coffee in the rooms are free. I was never made aware of this until I was charged upon check-out. Then today, I was checking my bank account and found a $4.75 charge from the hotel. I contacted them and was told it was probably the water charge, which is $4, but that they didn't know what the 75 cents was for. When I told them I had already paid for the water they said they would look into it and get back to me. That was over 5 hours ago. So, all in all, a decent stay, but I recommend reading the fine print.
