 "My first visit to Galway"
Very impressed with this hotel and very surprised that it only has a 3 star rating! I don't know whether the ratings in Ireland are different to those in the UK but in my opinion it should definitely be a 4. I have stayed in many 4 star hotels in the UK and they haven't been anywhere near as nice as The Connacht Hotel. Friendly and efficient service too. I would definitely bring the family to this hotel with all its leisure facilities,they probably wouldn't want to leave the hotel! Was on a friend's birthday weekend this time around and enjoyed the vibrant city of Galway,never seen seen such a small town so unbelievably packed with people!

Pros: We were very pleased with the friendliness of the staff,especially colin in the bar.it was the best value for money we have had in a while.the pool was great and the food in the bar was great we had great pizzas.we didnt have breakfast so are unable to comment on breakfasts.
Cons: We couldnt fault anything.
