 "very convenient"
Good loaction ; kept our bags when we we arrived early. The room was small but had all the necessary things for us on a one night stay.

Pros: Our first night there they were overbooked, but we were offered an equivalent room at the same cost at the nearby hotel delambre, which had once been the residence of both paul gaugin and andre breton. our second night (which was not consecutive)we stayed at hem, which we found even better than the first, because the room we had at hem was larger and more comfortable. hem is also closer to the gare montparnasse, our reason for booking in this location.

Cons: Not the best location for sight seeing. it's about a 10 to 20 euro cab ride to the main attractions. also the shower doors are open at the bottom and no matter what you do or how hard you try there will be water all over the bathroom floor after you take a shower.
