Unfriendly manners at front desk. Poor cleanliness. Convenient location. Rather noisy due to main street. Lift very narrow. I would try to find another hotel in the area. Walking distance to vieu port.

Good location, really close to the train station, the best looking and probably the cleanest hotel of the street. I would recommend for a short stay in Marseille.

 "Not for everybody"
This hotel has a good location directly by the railway station St. Charles. It is also directly at a main road and for that quite noisy. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not working very well and the air in the room was sticky. The room was big, the carpet not very new and the bathroom not very clean but quite good value for the price we payed.

Pros: Good rooms, clean, hot water 24 a day, breakfast 7-12 a.m.
Cons: There was a mistake, and when we arrived there wasn't any free rooms, despite the fact we booked it in advance! they didn't inform us and actually have stollen one day of our trip. anyway they booked another hotel for us on 1 day. but first impression was very bad. free wifi only in lobby of the hotel.

Pros: The hotel is not far from the main train station. there is a small-ish lift.
Cons: My room faced the street, and i would say that it must be one of the busiest streets in marseille (24hours). i had to wear ear plugs to get a comfortable night's rest.
the wireless internet wnet down on the second evening, and the staff was unable to do anything about it, which meant that there was a frustrated line of travellers trying to use the one and only pc.
