 "Very good hotel"
This is my first trip to San Francisco. Hotel des Arts has this good vibe and European atmosphere make you feel more in a gallery than in a hotel. Breakfast is continental but is all I need in the morning. The room is very clean, the bed linen and towels very soft the mattress is really good. I have been told that under new ownership the hotel will be remodeled step by step. The location is very convenient Chinatown very close by, Fishermans wharf 45 minutes walk from the hotel and many public transportation around. Restaurants are all around the corner.I personally would recommend this hotel.

 "Good and nice place where to stay in San Francisco"
I enjoyed my staying at Hotel des Arts very much. It's not a luxurious hotel but is very nice and quite. The location is excellent to reach any touristic attraction or the Moscone center for conferences. The hotel is a very good value, people at the reception are nice and helpful, it is possible to leave the luggage if you have a late flight and have to leave the room. I definitely recommend this hotel.

 "Good value for San Francisco"
The breakfast is very very simple (bagel, orange juice, muffin, coffee) and there are not even tables and chairs to really take it. It is ok, but it should be mentioned in the description of the hotel so that guests know what to expect. Parking is USD 30/ day.Room 402 was a bit noisy but the location and the service are great.
