 "Quite okay"
Nice staff, excellent, whilst not expensive breakfast, WLAN connection okay, rooms pretty small and bathrooms about the size of a coffin, and walls can be quite "thin", but the house is altogether acceptable for the fair price.

Pros: In amplification of my previous answers, the lincoln house hotel was perfectly situated for my requirements. although the room was small, it was very clean and, as a single traveller, suitable to my needs.
Cons: Full english breakfast not served until 8am. too late for my early start.

Cons: Elevator need, if traveling with a lot of bags, or tired of tours and shopping (our room was on 4th floor)
