 "Stay in Durham."
The hotel was very good value and had a good location near to the centre of Durham. The room was adequate although it was quite noisy with people walking along the hallway as the floorboards creaked. The shower was hard to get to the correct temperature also.

 "Historic Ambience, Modern Comforts"
The public rooms are spacious yet intimate, with open fires and oak beams. Our room was quiet and well-appointed - a place that you could live in happily for a week or more. The food in Brown's restaurant is good and reasonably priced; sevrvice at both dinner and breakfast was prompt and friendly. We shall return!

 "Three Tuns Hotel"
OK this hotel is a little run down and to be honest the breakfast is far from the best but the staff are great and very helpful and friendly. The location was spot on and Durham is totally worth visiting. Yes it wasn't spotless and yes the rooms are a little dated with a need of re-decorating but value for Money then yes.
