Pros: The room was basic but clean, good location and for central paris good value for money. the staff were excellent, very helpful.sorted the internet connection to my laptop - you only had to ask! would recommend to all who wish to save their money for the sights and not pay silly money on acommodation. recommended.

Pros: Location is ideal to tour paris and enjoy fine dining.
staff spoke english, 24 hr desk service, very nice.
Cons: Our room had an unfinished door, carpet in our room, as well as the rest of the hotel was very dirty, blanket on bed not clean, and bathroom was small by even european standards.

Pros: Great location
Cons: Asked to book taxi to airport. on the morning to go to the airport informed we would be sharing with another couple. van turns up to take us all to charles de gaulle. driver informs us at airport it is 45 euros each couple. van had no meter, or taxi insignia. fare should have been about half. ripped off. wonder if van driver was friend of someone at hotel. would not trust people at this hotel

Pros: The staff was very kind and accommodating. spoke english which was a plus for me. location was convenient to arch de triumph, eifel tower, seine river boat rides, and many other sites.

Pros: The room was clean and nicely decorated. there was one hotel staff who was willing to speak english and was helpful locating nearby restaurants and such.
Cons: Most of the staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. the elevator worked only half the time. the room was freezing until late at night when the turned on the heat. nearest metro station 10 min walk. not near very many restaurants/cafe's.

Pros: Ecellent location at 5 minutes walk from tour eiffel, rue cler, invalides - very quite street.
Cons: Breakfast not provided - do not follow suggestion to go to the near pastry shop but rather find a brasserie by yourself.
