 "HAPPY BIRTHDAY !"
I arrived at the hotel at 10:30 a.m. on march 12/13 (my birthday). The check in time is 2p.m. My concern was , would they have a room available? I did not get any sleep on the overnight flight from Toronto, so I needed at least a cat-nap ! I was greeted at the front desk by2 lovely young ladies named Theresa and Laura. To my surprise they had a studio available. They asked me what brought me to Glasgow and I told them that I was born in Glasgow , 66 years ago today and I had not been back in 56 years. Too my surprise I was upgraded to a 1 bedroom apt. as a gift. The staff were very helpful during my 4 day stay. The hotel is within easy walking distance of shopping, cafes, pubs and attractions. It was nice to have a kitchenette with all the utensils needed for cooking, right down to the salt and pepper shakers. I suggest you take the Hop on Hop off bus for sightseeing. the front desk has all the information. I will definitely stay at this hotel again !hop
