 "Good location, perfect to party!"
Good location. Hotel full of young people ready to party. Nice bar. Small rooms with bunk beds. A bit noisy in the morning. The bathroom was clean most of the Time. Good hôtel for people who want to party in berlin

2 elevators absolutely insufficient, room-standard lower than "etap", only 2 towels for 2 persons, no roomcleaning, no information about roomservice rules, horrible noise until early morning, key-card fails to work properly, food-quality of breakfast is to be cheerished(!),

 "Its a good hotel!"
The place like that in price like that... ufff great. I liked it, theres a really good service, always smiling people working there. The thing i didnt like is 1. The elevator!!! So many rooms and only 2 elevators - You wait there like 5-10 min for it to come. 2. The noise - You can hear who passes the hall, which room has and so on. But anyways if Ill had to choose Ill go there again

 "young people"
in my idea this hotel is so amazing for the young people. the ambiance is lovely for the young. For example there is a Bar who you can dance. The receptions were really polite,they try to help you, they are also young, very sympathetic. the hotel was in a area near the restaurants and cafes. that wasn't so far from city center.

 "I liked it!"
I traveled alone to Berlin for the first time in Fen and stayed here!Staying in the Generator was really great!I stayed in a single room which they promoted as small- but they had two single beds in it and there was plenty of room for me and my clothes and shoes! I kind of regretted not sharing a room with randoms though as everyone it seems is wanting to make friends- I did that anyway in a single room, but it just seemed more fun to share!The room, although small, was warm and clean and you were able to adjust the heat yourself to you liking, and open the window fully!I had my own bathroom- toilet and shower, which was a bit like a porter loo at a festival, but was very clean and the shower was powerful and hot!I stayed for 4 nights, and because the hotel is Eco- friendly they did not change towels and sheets, which wasn't a problem for me sure they would have if you asked.The walls are very thin- could hear snoring couple next door!The hostel is good fun though, a mixture of age ranges and people from all over the world up for mixing and talking to each other- it really helped my experience!Breakfast is pretty standard_ 4 Euros for some meat and bread and yoghurt, but you can eat as much as you like and filled me up for the day!EVERYONE who I met was friendly, bar staff, reception, cleaners, travelers!Location was fantastic- and the Berlin tube system/trams/trains buses are great!Would go back again for sure!Thankyou for a great stay Generator!Tanya L Duff

Pros: My teenage kids love it. great for socials at that age. buffet breakfast selection and quantity great. right by the train station which makes moving around a breeze.

 "The staff are great, the rooms are basic but clean and even the shared..."
Pros: The staff are great, the rooms are basic but clean and even the shared facilities are pretty good. you can leave your luggage in their lock-up for free, and there are inexpensive lockers available for more valuable stuff. you can also pay a little extra for a late checkout if you want. also the bar prices are great!
Cons: Generator can be noisy, so unless you're very insensitive to disturbance, take earplugs if you want even a chance at quality sleep.
