 "Value for the money"
The hotel is right across Old Town. The room needs renovation. There are cracks on the wall, the furniture is old. The breakfast is good. The staff is nice and professional. We have planned to stay 4 nights in San Diego. The weather changed (cold, rain) so we decided to go to Palm Spring. The manager agreed to refund 2 nights. Overall, good hotel but do not expect fancy room.

 "Excellent price and location"
This hotel is adjacent to the Old Town but doesn't attract the high rates . The Old Town and its numerous restaurants are just a short walk away. The hotel has a complimentary breakfast, mainly cold but with waffles.There is a bit or road noise and the distant sound of railroad engines, but not much at night.

 "Very good value for money"
Staff was cute, nice breakfast (continental), good position near the SF old town (the down town is easy to rich by train, the station is very close to the motel).Free parking and free WIFI are also good facielities.

 "Good choice for Seaworld visitors"
We stayed 2 nights at Padre Trail Inn. Location is good, only a short busride from Sea World and 5 min walk to oOld Town. Clean room and friendly staff. Service rating reduced because breakfast was poor, only some small tasteless bun with coffee or tea.
