 "just the ticket"
Fuctional, clean and well located hotel just 2 minutes from main drag and 10 minutes from the seafront. Hotel staff were lovely and extemely helpful giving good information and helping with booking restaruants which is a must if one wants to go to the trip advisor recommended places.

 "Excellent value for money"
Stayed in the Star Hotel for 5 nights whilst visiting the Cote D'Azur and would highly recommend it. The staff were very helpful and friendly and could not do enough to help to plan our visit to various parts of the Cote. Excellent buffet breakfast and although the room was small (as is normal in France) it was extremely clean and quiet. The hotel was 10 minutes walk from Place Massena and the old town and 10 minutes from both bus stops and the railway station.We would certainly stay here again on our next visit to Nice

 "The staff were excellent and really friendly"
Pros: The staff were excellent and really friendly. you got free use of beach towels and umbrellas for the beach. the location was great, we could walk everywhere.
Cons: The room was a bit small and squishy.

Pros: Good breakfast, friendly staff
Cons: We had booked and paid for star hotel but arrived and no room was available - we were placed at hotel lepante instead which was in a noisier location nearby with much more traffic noise (although still a decent hotel apart from that). we felt let down. so we do not know what the star hotel is really like.
