Apartments Guardia in Barcelona is located 100 meters away from Las Ramblas and the seafront.
Gaudi museum is just a few steps away from the apartments. Plaza Catalunya and the Born area are 10 minutes walking distance from the apartments and the gothic quarter is across the road. You can not be more central in Barcelona than where we are.
These fully equipped apartments are centrally located and stylishly furnished, with a lovely terrace on top of the building ideal for sunbathing and preparing a barbecue.
* Guests must call at least 30 minutes prior to arrival to arrange key pick up in front of the apartments. If not, once you are in front of the building, please call one of the numbers provided and the person in charge will be with you in 5 minutes.
* Check in time is from 15:00 to 24:00 (To check in between 24:00 and 8:00, please contact the property directly and there is a charge of € 27.-). If you arrive earlier you can leave the luggage there with no problem.
* There is a deposit charge per apartment on arrival of € 100.- payable in any currency and always in cash.

Calle Guardia is parallel to Las Ramblas and the apartments are just a few steps away from Gaudi Museum.
By metro: The closest metro station is, Liceu, which is on Las Ramblas. (8 minutes from the apartments)
From Liceu station, you will have to walk down towards the sea until you find ¨Carre Nou De La Rambla¨ Street on the right.
Walking down Carrer Nou de La Rambla Carrer Guardia will be the second street on the left.
By plane: Guests arriving to Prat airport are recommended to get a taxi in case there are 4 or more people as getting 4 bus tickets to the city centre would almost cost € 25.00 which is equal to the taxi costs.
Guests who are less than 4 people are recommended to get the ¨aerobus¨, which is the cheapest way to get to the city centre; Plaza Catalunya for about 4€ per ticket.
On foot: From Plaza Catalunya, you can walk down Las Ramblas untill you get to ¨Carrer Nou de La Rambla¨ or get the metro to Liceu station and follow the directions provided before.

L'appartamento è ben tenuto e di recente ristrutturazione, ben accogliente anche per 6 persone. posizione eccellenteè decisamente poco luminoso, una delle due camere piccolissima e con finestrella striminzita.David Borraccino

Innanzi tutto non si è mai visto da nessuna parte che si debba pagare all'arrivo e dover lasciare una caparra consistente nonostante la prenotazione con carta di credito.inoltre c'era una costante puzza di fogna.Sauer, Harald

Wir haben eine einfache und preiswerte unterkunft an top-lage gesucht. das guardia hat unsere erwartungen ganz klar übertroffen. zweckmässige einrichtung, genug platz und sauber. das zimmer hatte allerdings nur wenig tageslicht, was uns aber überhaupt nicht gestört hat. schliesslich ist man tagsüber draussen auf entdeckungsreise. besonders gemütlich war der esstisch im kleinen innenhof mit tageslicht unmittelbar vor unserem zimmer. dort konnten wir unser selbst zubereitetes frühstück einnehmen und uns für den tag stärken. das guardia würde ich jungen und unkomplizierten leuten weiterempfehlen sowie auch älteren personen, die keine allzu hohen ansprüche haben. Excellent value, location and service. 100yds from la ramblas. decent room. when we return to barcelona we won't look further than this accomodation.
the storage of our luggage on the last day gave us an additional day to get around.Everything was as described. don't be put off by some of the reviews; you're not paying 5 star prices so don't expect 5 star luxury! David O'Keeffe

Friendly staff. and helpful. On arrival we found out that the room was not available for the first night so at 11pm at night were moved to a different location. alos the room had no window and was in a rough area. i would not stay in these apartments again. Anonimo

Staff were very friendly and helpul, apartment was clean, very close to las ramblasApartment did not reflect the photo's on the website at all! no window, just a door which opened onto a brick wall. very small. extremely noisy on saturday night, nightclub nearby. no safety deposit box. wouldn't use again. would only recommend for back packers/young singles.Mrs Sarah Johnson

Friendly and helpful staff - went out of her way to help us
ideal location
we didn't experience any problem with noise (we had a basement apartment at the rear) - it may possibly have been noisier at the front - some separating walls are also thin but it wasn't a problem for us
I think the apartments vary a little in size and layout - ours was certainly different from the picture - it had no outside window or balcony but the basics were as described - i think we would consider booking the apartments again were we to return to barcelona
