Hotel Duminy Vendome Paris

The best thing about the hotel is its location. You can easily walk from here to the Louvre Museum, Museum d'Orsay, Notre Dame de Paris , Tuileries Garden, and the Place de la Concorde, Latin Quarter . The room in a single room is surprisingly small for a four star hotel and the safe box is on the floor (which is not convenient). . However, the room is definitly clean. The bathroom is decent size. The breakfast is good, there is an omelette and an assortment of different cheeses.

we booked on the net and the hotel lived up to our expectations. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice,comfortable an clean and the breakfast was delicious with a good selection of food both fresh and cooked. The dining room was spacious and fresh. The location could not have been better as it was In walking distance to places of interest or transport that could get you to other places.Would we stay there again? Most certainly. Would we recommend it to our friends? Most certainly.

Great location for touring Paris. Easy access to transit routes. Rooms were comfortable, breakfast delicious. All staff was friendly and helpful.

This hotel has an excellent location for the majority of tourist sites in Paris. Within walking distance to most tourist attractions, and in close proximity to the shopping areas and restaurants. Hotel is a boutique hotel, small bedrooms, but clean and well equipped. In standard double rooms, beds are 4 foot 6 inches, not really big enough for most people. Walls were very thin, we are able to hear tv from next door and lift noise. However staff were very helpful and always attentive. Willing to help with onward travel arrangements and restaurant bookings. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and would definitely use again, but would pay the extra to have superior rooms. Breakfast was very good, large selection of hot and cold food, and good service.

Overall a lovely hotel in a great central location in Paris. Room really clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast menu extensive and staff very friendly and helpful. Only small complaint was noise coming from pipework in the bathroom over more than one night which kept us awake for a while, other than that, very good.

Pros: Very good reception staff. great breakfast room.
Cons: Room very clean but smelt very strongly of cleaning fluid.

Cons: Lift is very old and really should be upgraded really poor. besides the lift..the whole time we were there painters were painting the main entrance which was a real pain because it was hard to get in and out of the hotel. p.s asked the hotel to call us a taxi to go to the airport.. when he arrived he had already 20 euro's on the meter, told him to get f@$&ed so we just went around the corner and got one from there

Pros: The hotel location is fantastic if your intention is to see the sights. the cleanliness of the hotel and helpfulness of the staff is really good. the breakfast is of a good standard, i would recommend this board basis as it is quite expensive to eat out. the reviews i read about paris hotels before our holiday all mentioned about the small sized bedrooms, however our room was really quite spacious and larger than i expected. overall a really pleasant stay and a lovely hotel, we would definitely stay there again.
Cons: New wallpaper in our room would be the only thing i would mention. people had either scraped their luggage on the walls and skirting boards or something which left quite a few black marks on the main wall.

Pros: The hotel was ideally placed for visiting the louvre, the musee d'orsay and the gardens.

Cons: Value for money on the room price - room was one of the smallest in the hotel

Pros: We were upgraded upon arrival and had access to a free mini bar, the staff were very helpful and booked us a cab for the journey home

Pros: Really enjoyed the stay...great location, good service and clean room

Pros: The front office staff helped us to print out some documents for the flight information that we forgot to bring with very good service and no extra charges.
