Artemide Hotel Roma    

Great boutique hotel, Roma through and through, but with all the amenities for the American traveler, terrific service, nice buffet breakfast in cheerful breakfast room, lovely outdoor terrace and glass-enclosed bar and dining room, all with nice views of Rome.

Very helpful staff, (late check-out allowed), smart uniforms, good english. Room clean, free mini-bar, beer, water, cola refilled daily. Excellent roof terrace bar and restaurant, lunches recommended. No view from room!

The rooms are qyite for European standards and very clean and quiet. Delicious, big breakfast buffet is served until quite late. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The location is great for most of the major sights. Wonderful shopping right outside your door

We had a great stay at the hotel. The room was very nice and cleaned daily. As it was my wife's birthday, we got a room upgrade and a complimentry bottle of bubbly on her birthday. The reception staff were extremely attentive and helpful. They also arranged a meal at a local restaurant which was good value and also very friendly.We ate twice in the hotel restaurant and both times were excellent. The food was well presented and the wine was cheaper than a restaurant here.The Terrace bar was next to the restaurant and we used it daily to escape the rush of the city. It was hard to believe it was so quiet on the roof when the city was so hectic. We would be more than happy to stay there again.

Great location Hotel with friendly service! Breakfast good and rooftop terrace ideal after a busy day in the city. Located near the Terminus and handy for all attaractions especially the Trevi. Great!

I wanted to go somewhere special for my 40th birthday and Rome seemed like the perfect place for my wife and I. The hotel is situated in a good location and the staff at the hotel could not do more to help. The day we left the hotel was my birthday and the evening before i was presented with a bottle of champagne compliments of the hotel manager. I hadn't told them it was my birthday, they must of noticed on my passport when checking in. Lovely people on reception and breakfast staff. The free minibar was also perfect.

Perfect location for a city break - we walked to the Spanish Steps, Traveli Fountain, Colosseum and even walked back from the Vatican with no great issues. Friendly manager and a great breakfast. Try it.

Myself and my family (6 total ) stayed at the Artemide recently and found it exemplary in every way . We had 3 rooms. The staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast was great and the restaurant was excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

this was the first hotel we stayed at in our italian holiday, and it was great. the food was fantastic, i reccommend you get the breakfast included, as it was of a great quality. the resturant was also very good. free mini bar was a nice touch, and the hotel service was great. we had a room that overlooked via nationale, which is the main street, and it was a little noisy at times, but my partner and i both slept really well regardless. it was also an excellent location, we walked everywhere from here, and if you dont like walking, the underground is at the end of the street. had an excellent stay!

A very nice hotel, with very good, helpful, friendly staff. The free mini-bar was an unexpected bonus. I do know why reviews have to be at least 200 characters, so this is just padding and blah, blah, blah

Large rooms by European standards, great breakfast buffet, attentive staff, super housekeeping. Great location close to Termini. It's a bit pricey … but well worth it. Will definitely stay here again!

I cant say more good things about this hotel. The location, the staff, the food, the room it was all perfect!! The staff were very friendly and helped us with any query. The mini bar was free!! The roof top restuarant was great! The hotel was in the centre of all the attractions and only 5 mins from Termini station.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Rome . It is within walking distance to the Collosem and Trevi Fountain. The staff are very accommodating ,the rooms are clean. We enjoyed the bar on the rooftop with a beautiful view of the city.

Good value for a high quality Hotel in Rome. Central location with excellent breakfast. Would stay here again.

On arriving at the Artemide reception advsied us "someone has cancelled your booking last month"! eeeeeeeekkkkkkkk. We were obviously upset as this was for our 10th wedding anniversary and we'd planned it meticulously (we thought). Also, they were fully booked! This turned out to be their mistake somewhere in the booking process.We sat around in the lobby for half an hour while they tried to sort things out, not even offered a coffee.But, to their credit, they sorted everything out and made all the nastiness go away. The rooms are smart, comfy and free mini-bar a nice touch. Breakfast is delicious and the staff encourage you t0 try different coffees and food out they have available in a friendly manner.The roof top restaurant is a delight, as are the staff and of course the food. The hotel is located just 3 mins from the Metro and another 5 from the main railway station.We loved our stay at The Artemide and if we return to Rome will certainly look to stay here again.

Great hospitality, on arrival we got a free upgrade and welcome drinks! The rooms were beautiful and a great location. Only problem was the noise but it was on a busy street! It was more expensive than I would have liked but after traveling from Australia on a 24 hour flight quality was a must!

The hotel is in a excellent location, it is clean and all the staff are friendly and helpful. I booked this hotel as a surprise for my boyfriends 30th birthday and the hotel didnt disapoint with a surprise bottle of bubbly! I highly recommend this hotel.

Our trip to Rome was probably the best short break we have ever had and Hotel Artemide was certainly all that we had hoped it would be. From the minute we arrived in the Taxi which the hotel had organised for us to the last arrivederci when we collected our bags which they stored for us on our departure day the staff in the hotel could not have been more helpful and courteous. Our room ( a superior double) was huge for a city hotel and it was spotlessly clean and tidy ( under our bed there was even a little notice to say that they had checked in all the wee corners for cleanliness and this notice had moved slightly each day...suggesting that they had cleaned under the bed each day...a quirky little touch). We arrived to a complimentary bottle of very nice red wine and a minibar full of complimentary soft drinks and snacks, which was replenished each day.All mod cons were in the room ( on the first floor) and the lovely bathroom was also well stocked with toiletries, bath robes and slippers etc.Our room was very quiet at night and even with the window open....it was 25c outside in March, we could not hear any street noise.Our room had no view however as it was located towards the back of the hotel but that was fine, we were only in the room at night for sleeping so no probs.My only criticism of our room was the matress on the bed. I have a bad back and the minute I looked at the bed I knew I was in for bother. The matress was like a board and was most uncomfortable, resulting in 4 nights of disturbed sleep, however it was probably as much to do with my back as it was the matress.Chocolates on the pillows each night was another nice touch.The restaurant was smal but the staff were most attentive at the buffet breakfast and at thje one evening meal we enjoyed on our second night, and the hotel gave us a voucher for 50% off which was an unexpected bonus.A fanastic central location on the Via Nationale made it so easy to walk around all the major sights of Rome ( Colosseum and forum 10 mins, Spanish steps and Trevi Fountain 15mins. Great Hotel...Great Break
