The London Bridge Hotel, opened in 1998, is an historic site at an ideal location on the edge of the City, across from London Bridge Station , with direct links to ExCel, Docklands, London City/Gatwick Airports, the West End and theater land. Nearby to the Hotel London Bridge are the South Bank theater and concert venues, Bankside and Tate Modern. The site of the London Bridge Hotel dates back to Roman Britain, when the area had already become the center of commerce and communication links in Europe, and significant archaeological findings unearthed during the redevelopment are now at the Museum of London.
