New York West Side Inn is for budget travelers who seek accommodation that is not too far from New York’s main tourist and shopping attractions and experienced enough explorers to know that you get what you pay for. Located in Manhattan’s Morningside Heights near the Upper West Side area, the West Side Inn New York has 88 rooms that take up six floors with an elevator that only goes up to the fifth storey. Staff at the hotel is friendly and helpful, if a little casual, and the rooms offer basic amenities with cable television.

The West Side Inn New York is like a hostel with share bathroom facilities as well as ensuite bathrooms available with some of the bigger, family rooms. New York West Side Inn is not handicapped-friendly with any wheelchair access. The reception is open 24 hours and hotel facilities include coin-operated washing machines, an Internet kiosk and shuttle service to the airport, the closest of which, La Guardia, is nine miles away. Indoor parking is available while the hotel also offers a boutique, kitchenette, maid service, game room and a coffee shop. Although the West Side Inn New York says it caters for business travelers, the majority of guests are budget tourists from other parts of the United States.
