Cons:
the assistant manager was so rude! i booked by email a twin smoking room. however when we arrived (completely wet 'cause the rain!) at the hotel our room was ready, but was a no-smoking room. we asked for the right room, that supposed to be ready in a short time. we waited for half and hour (always wet), in the meantime he said that it shouldn't take no more long, so we decide to switch the room with the firs one no-smoking room and the assistant manager was so rude to explain the problem, he wasn't helpful at all. we just asked to switch the room and he said the same things 4 times, when we just would like to have an hot shower.
lucky we staid just 1 night, he was so unprofessional and he didn't tell us nothing we we left as 'bye', 'thanks' or what else.
me and my boyfriend work with customer every day, so we know what means to handle customer, especially the difficult ones, but an assistant manager that take it out with customer is unacceptable.
Cons: Not so easy to get to if you haven't been there before or at least if you take the tram that is.
Cons: When i pay an hotel 100+ euro a night i can not accedpt to have arude attituled from the hotel staff when i ask for ice in my drink. it happened in 2 consecutive days not to have ice at the hotel bar and the reply of the waiter was "we are an hotel not a bar" not an excuse or anything to make up for the luch of service. totaly unacceptable.
further the size of beds in the twin rooms (87) is only good for children not for adultes, and never mind the question about honeymooners or romantic couples.
Cons: Its a bit far out from the centre and the surrounding area is a bit deserted as there's lots of development going on. best to get a cab if coming home after dark to avoid underpass and quiet road.
Cons: It was too far out of the city for the price you pay. you can get into town by tram but it's not very convenient. breakfast was an extra 12.50 euro. too expensive!
