Unfriendly staff, room cleanliness average, very dirty carpet, cleaning the room fast and sloppy no effort for the French (language).

I slept one niightIt was very close to Schipol airport and esaty to find.but, they charged 26 euro before i arrived at hotel. then I asked the cancelation of the ovechared. but, it was not canceled. that was the biggist ploblem yet.

"Nice place.. & nice hotel."

We would like back to this hotel ., we take triple room , with my husband & son , . It's a nice hotel in Lisse, when we were there not so many staff on duty , but the front desk is friendly & helpful. from this hotel to schiphol is only around 20 minutes by bus no 61 , the bus direct across the hotel, so it's very helpful to go with family . & luggages. we recommend this hotel , it would be more wonderful when Tulips blooming , but we came when it's over , by the way we still can enjoy around , fresh air ,etc.

the hotel was ok (good), lady`s from reception were kind but I had a small complain.Saturday night we come back to hotel from a concert in Amsterdam around 1-2 AM. The next day, Sunday, we suppose to check out and we kindly ask a man from reception if is possible to check out at 11-12 AM because we had 900 km to drive so we can be fresh on the road. the man from reception said that is not possible and if we stay over we had to pay 25 euro extra. we hopped that in some circumstances the hotel give us some credit.anyway, in the morning, I was find out from lady`s that check out in weekend is at 11 AM, not 10 AM like I was knowing, so we was not informed correctly.now I don`t want to make too many problems to the man from the reception, I don`t want him to get fired, is too much. just next time be more kind to customers, speak gently with them, they pay your salary

"Ok"

Nice size room, wifi connection is terrible very slow and kept cutting out, we used glasses every night and the next day they were not cleaned just put back. It's a long way from Amsterdam you need to get a 1/2 hour bus then the same on the train.

"Not recommended for the price"

We paid around 100 Euro per night to stay here. The hotel was located on the corner of a round-a-bout. The traffic (and people hanging out in the parking lot and people peeling out of the parking lot in their cars) at night made it very noisy and you couldn't keep your window open for fresh air (thank goodness they did have AC in the room). The room was not well-kept. The carpets were dirty, walls could have been painted and touched up. We didn't eat breakfast there as it was 12-15 Euro per person. On a good note, the bed was comfortable.For the price, I wouldn't stay there again.

"Perfect location for Keukenhof Flower festival"

The purpose of our trip was to enjoy the tulips at Keukenhof. Less than a 10 minute walk from the fields made it the best location for this activity. Hotel was clean, although the daily servicing did not include changing of linens which would have been nice. Tea and coffee in the room was replinished daily. We thouroughly enjoyed our time there.

Pros: The food tasted excellent and the wait staff were also very good. the room, though at the end of the corridor, was very nice and clean...though i could not learn how to put the timer on the television the television was entertaining.
Cons: The most negative experience i had was that while looking on the internet at the last minuet for a hotel in the city of amsterdam, i was very surprised to learn that the hotel de nachtegaal was 26 kilometers from the city and that transportation; bus 61 to schiphol airport and from there via train to amsterdam is very expensive daily and has to coincide with the train and bus schedules, one night after missing bus 61, i had to walk for about 3 hours in the darkness...approximately 20 kilometers...to return to the hotel.

Pros: It was a good hotel however it could still benefit from some updating in the rooms and maybe a paint job.
but overall it was a good place to go and stay at if you are interestes in seing the flower garden and the nearby water park. over priced meals (20 euro per person breakfast scrambled eggs with toast).

Pros: The hotel was nice and clean (except for very drafty window- when cold)
Cons: It would have been good if we stayed at this hotel to see turip fields, but we wanted to go and see amsterdam. it says (or it sounds like it is saying) 35minutes to amsterdam centre, but actually at least 1 hour to get there by public tranport. driving to amsterdam can have many problem- such as trafic jam and parking- we took over 2 hours + "big"parking fee to get to amsterdam centre.
just note this hotel is not good for amsterdam city break.
