The Ambassador Zlata Husa offers a combination of Art Nouveau and unique history right in the heart of the city center in Prague and is considered the place to be. The Zlata Husa Ambassador was built in 1920 and means "golden goose". The folklore behind the name of Husa Ambassador Zlata is that the hotel's owner, a rich widow, had a daughter who remained single despite her wealth, earning her the nickname of "golden goose". In 1964, the Ambassador Zlata Husa made an alliance with the Ambassador group and underwent a major renovation in 2004.
