Very basic - expect no frills. Room was clean but small - bed was king size. Small fridge in room which had to be rented for 3.00/day. Motel was in a nice, residential neighborhood and it was just a short walk to catch the city buses - which went to all the tourist stops. Good restaurants within walking distance. Lots of cafes/bistros/delis one street over. Was just off the busy/main part of Lombard St., which made it quieter than other motels in the same area. Price seemed high for such a basic room, but rooms seem to be high priced in this city. Would definitely stay there again for the value and location.

Pros: Was inexpensive and seamed to offer, good location and amenities.their breakfast was muffins and croissants,coffee and juice.no space to eat it,so you had to take it to your room.it was complimentary, so no complains...
Cons: Their parking was for just 9 cars,including the one for invalids,and 2 spots with diagonal lines,that would mean "no parking" otherwise.however,there were always cars parked there as well.
we found a lot of long dark hair in the room,in the bed and on the floor, and even in the bath.the cleaning lady was polite, but...had long dark hair...

Pros: Rooms were clean and also quiet for the most part. staff helpful with mass transit options to get around san francsico.i stayed both sunday and monday nights, the 6th and 7th of september. stayed in a different room on monday night.
Cons: I believe the website told me the price included room and sales taxes but got charged more than $10/per night when i checked in.
