This hotel was a true disappointment: The staff was unfriendly and unprofessional: They hung up the phone when we wanted to schedule the airport pickup, so we had to use public transport. Hour door cards never worked, we had to exchange them multiple times per day. On the second day they blocked the door cards on purpose. The neighbourhood is very unpleasant with poor eating/drinking opportunities. the hotel itself is pretty old and worn out, our room had the smell of a long year smoker room. Over all, the value-for-money ratio has to be classified as poor and we would not book it again. Accessibility to public transport and the room cleanliness are both a plus, though.

Cons: Web site says courtesy shuttle to jfk, but did not say it was free pick up but $10 return fee, also last shuttle is 18.00.

Pros: Staff were really helpful, the location is great, so easy to get into town and shops and eateries near by. we had dinner at the motel one night and it was as good as any more upmarket meals i've had and at a reasonable price too. the rooms are old but they were clean and the beds good. compared to what other motels were asking for a nights stay this was excellent value and we were very happy with the experience and would recommend it to family and friends.

Cons: Too far from the subway if going by train, no tea making facilities in the room a little pricey for the standard with all the taxes on top.

Cons: The location was not so good. our room was next to the elevator which caused a lot of noise during the night, so i souldn't sleep well.however there wasn't a new room available(only smooking room).

Cons: No fault with the hotel, but it was unclear whether the cost of the reservation was deducted at the time of reservation or after the stay. currently i beleive i may have paid twice.

Pros: Use of the gym was a bonus. so was the free pick up from the airport
Cons: The website said clearly that breakfast would be included in the price unless the hotel rate said otherwise. the hotel rate did not say breakfast was excluded so i presumed it was included, but it was not. your website is seriously misleading. i think you should reimburse me the cost of three days of breakfast for two people, and change your website so that it is accurate.

Pros: The van drivers to and from the airport were very nice and helpful.
Cons: The hotel was just decent, not dirty but not really clean either. didn't feel welcomed by staff.
