Senior Application Developer PHP

This role is based in Herzliya, Israel

The ideal Application Developer PHP is an innovative technical expert who is fluent in software development and mainly focused on web development of rich internet applications.

Programming in PHP, JavaScript, DHTML, AJAX, XML, CSS on the LAMP (Linux / Apache / MySQL / Perl / PHP) platform. You have the motivation and ability to realize great ideas and work with a team of UX/UI experts to develop and maintain several applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop web applications in PHP/MySQL/Apache environment
• Design and develop API's for external partners and vendors to connect to
• Deliver scalable, tested, refactored, high quality code
• Work closely with product manager to realize features and additions
• Write clear, concise and efficient code that is maintainable using web standards
• Deliver high quality applications with well structured code you can be proud of
• Work in the SCRUM team, sharing knowledge, documenting relevant information

Requirements

• 5+ years of PHP/MySQL development experience is a must have
• Bachelors degree in a related field
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
• Solid knowledge of the HTTP protocol
• Basic knowledge of Linux environments
• Knowledge of OOP and MVC and other development patterns
• Solid understanding and programming skills with databases
• Thorough understanding of HTML/CSS,XML, JavaScript and the HTTP protocol
• Understanding of cross-browser and platform compatibility issue
• Understanding of cross-browser and platform compatibility issue Familiarity with source version control
• Experience working in an agile environment is a plus
