Andel's Hotel & Suites Prague

Cons: Airconditioning problem on arrival in room. prompt attention during evening from staff helped but not fixed properly until next day

Pros: Great 4 star hotel, 15 minutes walk from old town, 2-3 minutes on tram or underground. hotel very high standard with underfloor heating in very large bathroom with seperate shower, large lcd tv, air conditioning, small kitchen, electric blinds, seated area and dining table, plenty of storage. good selection of food for breakfast. only one negative comment regarding sauna, however would go back to this hotel time and time again. superb.
Cons: Sauna/steam room very expensive. £14 per person. no drinking water/juice or complimentary toilietries provided. steam room broken to add to disappointment.

Pros: The hotel is very sympathic , it is by 10 minutes of tram from the center and 40 minutes by walk depending on where your are, it's a very good report quality/price , we will return to it for a next travel in praha for sure,

Pros: Great hotel, modern and clean with good facilities.
Cons: Pity it was not closer to the centre of prague, but there was good commuter links and we knew it was not as close as other hotels we considered.

Pros: The staff were friendly and were able to speak english, the roms were spacious and clean with the added bonus of having toiletries provided
Cons: The dining room was crowded and although there was a wide variety of choice in the food when busy, the self service system could become a free for all.

Pros: Very well laid out rooms and en-suite bathrooms. best hotel beds we have ever encountered. staff very friendly. ideally located for public transport e.g. trams & metro.
Cons: Everyone in prague appears to smoke and although we were in non smoking rooms there was still a lingering smell throughout the public areas of the hotel. probably no worse than others, however.

Pros: Security very good,reception good,very clean
Cons: The bar prices were a bit steep

Pros: Excellent value for money, ideal location for transport links, polite, efficient service, clean, bright, modern rooms, stunning variety of breakfast food. you will not find better value for money in praha.

Pros: Modern, clean hotel, parking beneath hotel. great location close to metro and tram lines, shops, bars and restaurants. great price deals.

Pros: We had a very enjoyable stay at andel's. it was well situated, the staff were very efficient, polite and helpful. even the cleaning staff greated us with a cheerful "good morning" each day. the room was clean and well appointed for a short stay. the safe in the room was really good, being probably the simplest i have ever used. breakfast was comprehensive with plenty to choose from. the whole experience was most enjoyable and i would strongly recommend andel's to anyone.
Cons: Very minor points but:
when we arrived outside what we thought was the main entrance to the hotel, having walked from the metro, we were actually stood outside an entrance further up the street(which was locked). there was no response from the door buzzer and the whole place looked empty and closed. we tried the next entrance (just down from the first) which was also locked. we then walked through the tunnel to the rear of the hotel and the scaffolding made the place look even more deserted. a sign on that entrance, indicating that the hotel main entrance and reception is further down the street might help others who have a similer experience.
another slight negitive is that the hanging and draw space in the room is limited. not a problem for us as we were traveling light, but if someone did have a lot of clothing they would probably find the lack of space a slight problem.
final point - the next part of this questionairre doesn't allow all catagories to be highlighted. this hotel is superbly equipt for the needs of all and i would recommend it to all.

Pros: Large room, comfortable bed, good selection for breakfast, close to shops
Cons: When we arrived they did not have our name and we weren't booked in. i don't know if this was the hotels fault or the websites fault however it was just luck that they had rooms available

Pros: Absolutely superb hotel. from check-in and throughout our stay this is an excellent hotel. great facilities, super breakfast, fantastic rooms. and a great location too. would highly recommend this hotel. seriously!

Pros: Fantastic hotel.upgraded to a suite- it was heaven.breakfast was very good.it's modern and well situated, just round the corner to the underground and you can walk to the centre following the river in 20 mins.

Pros: Helpful friendly staff, clean nice rooms with excellent bathrooms.
Cons: Very expensive drinks in the bar and breakfast could be better suited to the english. stairs as an option to the lift would have been nice.

Cons: Smoking in the lobby and hallways. no smoking hotel would be an excellent idea.

Pros: Very comfortable hotel with good decor. the service and facilities were excellent - we enjoyed a room upgrade and the tea and coffee in the lobby area was an excellent idea. the breakfast was also delicious.
