Pros: Food was ok and plentiful, room was acceptable and very basic. glad we only stayed one night.
Cons: Website suggested extra bed on request - hotel said not an option. this caused a delay, but after some negotiation an a compromise was made. was extremely inconvenient as was not going to accomodate a family of 5 in one room - necassary for us with a child with a hearing disability. best suitable for students or tradesmen/tradepersons.
was noisy from other guests until late. some faults in room ie; carpet was stained, heater - although not used was not in a condition desirable to be used, was some cigarette burn holes in duvet.

Pros: We were pleasantly surprised by the size of family room with full sized bunk beds for the children and still had space to walk around. a simple continental breakfast was provided in the foyer with fresh bread and pastries and was great value for money. although it seems to be used much by commercial travellers, it had a quiet atmosphere and there were a number of other families with young children, as we were, using the hotel to break up a long journey. there are plenty of vending machines offering snacks and drinks and the reception is manned 24 hours to allow 24 hour check-in - great when the traffic in lyon is worse that you expected!
Cons: There were a lot of large white vans in the car park and we found it difficult to find a parking space having arrived at 1am, though not impossible. ensuite was spacious and clean but shower door wouldn't close properly and shower head slipped down.
