"I love Paris"

We had a wonderful experience at the Grand Hotel St Michel, Marie and Pierre couldn't do enough for us. Our first room was very unique as it had a sloped roof and was inadequate for my husband being so tall. Marie moved us into another room which was very comfortable. The amenities were very clean, we had internet access with wireless for our mobiles. It is so close to everything in Paris. Just a short walk to Notre Dame, and the Lourve and many more attractions in Paris. Pierre helped in any way possible. He drew maps for us to follow and told us which trains to catch in the underground. That was more than helpful. He also made arrangements for us to go to the Moulin Rouge with pick up and drop off. What a fantastic night and magical holiday made more enjoyable knowing the staff at the Grand Hotel were looking after us. I would be more than happy to pass on this hotel as a place to stay in Paris.

"Great apart from a couple of small things"

The hotel was lovely. The location was excellent! Perfect for exploring paris for 3 days. We walked a lot and notre dame is so close! Its also really close to both the metro and RER. The staff were so helpful. We arrived early and had complimentary coffee. It would've been nice if the staff member on duty told us we could go downstairs for some tea or coffee because we didn't know what to do. A recommendation for better service would be to offer guests who arrive too early to go down to the restaurant without them having to ask. Apart from that the staff did everything they could for us and I would definitely return. The restaurant recommendation nearby was an unforgettable and romantic experience!The hotel was modern and the bed comfortable. It was quiet and we set very well. Room service was excellent.We got a deluxe room and it was very small. I wonder what the standard rooms are like. However I know this is a common thing in Paris and all big cities. It was a lovely room, bathroom (with good shower and Hermes products!) The only thing that bothered us a few times was a sewerage smell. I am not sure if it was the bathroom or from outside but it wasn't pleasant. I would highly recommend this hotel but before booking I would ask if this situation is resolved. I will be returning but I will ask the same question.

"Excellent location"

We enjoyed our stay here which was enhanced by it's location to the RER and Metro.Also a very nice area to walk around with many cafes & restaurants.The hotel was very modern and comfortable.

"Paris Fun"

I found this hotel to be ideal for service, access to everything in Paris, and getting to and from the airport. Small rooms, but funky and clean. Would stay there again.

Pros: The staff was extremely kind and receptive. the room i was in (505) was very nice, cozy, comfortable, clean and the bed was so great to sleep in! loved all the pillows! slept so great after a long day of walking and site seeing.

Fantastic

Earning its 4 stars, Grand Hotel Saint Michel is ideal for all types of visitor. Attractions in the vicinity you may want to visit are Odéon and Bastille. Notre Dame is worth taking some pictures of to show to the folks back home. This hotel has many points of interest close by, for example Pantheon. It's reassuring to know that Maison de la Mutualite is easily accessible.

A bar/lounge can be found here, along with a non-smoking area (generic), is a welcome addition to the common areas of Grand Hotel Saint Michel. This accommodation cares about your wellbeing; it is equipped with a steam room. Favorable services here are a baby-sitting service, a dry cleaning/laundry service and a luggage storage.
