Pros: Central location very close to the eiffel tower, train station very near by. friendly staff who spoke english well and provided 24 hour access. we stayed in a triple room which had two double beds which
were very comfortable.
Cons: Extremely small toilet room, creaky floors

Pros: The hotel is superbly located, and the front desk staff are friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. the hotel was clean, and our room was comfortable and quiet. we will recommend this hotel to friends.
Cons: The room safe was so small we couldn't get much in it. for example, our digital slr camera would not fit. while the hotel is fairly priced, breakfast - shich cost 15 euros apiece - seemed exhorbitant to us, so we ate out every morning. fortunately, there are some nice breakfast places within a few blocks. finally, the hotel has two computers which allow internet access, and the demand for these was quite high, especially because the equipment or network was down for some period.
having said this, these are minor nits in a very pleasurable experience. our stay at this hotel was extremely nice.

"The room is big for paris's standard"

Pros: The room is big for paris's standard. the location is great. near the playground for kids and near the eiffel tower ( 5 mins walk).
Cons: Thin wall, can hear the rooms next door even though they were not shouting. the hotel requires 80euro deposit to use a safe box (which is tiny) in the room which we find unfair. we should be able to put our valuable in a safe place without having to pay a deposit. 80 euro is a lot to put down as a deposit. also we had to cut the trip short due to accident (involve ambulance) and we still have to pay for the night we won't be using. i know we booked it but the hotel should think outside the box a bit and perhaps have some sympathy.

helpful friendly staff and excellent location near the eiffel tower and metro/bus routes to other parts of paris.

very good buffet breakfast in an attractive covered atrium.
Cons: The beds were a little soft but we had no trouble sleeping.

the room safe was big enough for passports and other small items but not for the smallest netbook.

In its 3-star class, Hotel de la Bourdonnais is outstanding. With such an array of rooms here, you're guaranteed to find one of your liking. École Militaire or Les Invalides are worth a visit, even if you're in Paris for only a short period. A possible inclusion in your itinerary, Eiffel Tower is a short distance from this location, as are Grenelle and Avenue des Champs-Élysées. If you plan on visiting Aquaboulevard, this hotel is a good choice. From this location you can get to Place de la Concorde, as it is situated 1.6 km (1.0 miles) from here.
