Hôtel Pavillon République Les Halles Paris  

It's location is a star.The room wasn't as bad as in some reviews i read. Apart from the duve , the bed was just fine and the toilet was with a bath tap and really clean. I stayed in 320 and it's worth your money considering the Paris accommodation.The staff too are actually very good and helpful. I didn't visit the restaurant though as i was always out.If you are on a budget and not spending alot of time in the hotel, this place is your best shot.

A room safe costs €4 a day and there is an additional hotel tax which is not stated anywhere during the booking process. We had additional costs of €23 for a 4 day stay. There are better hotels with a safe in the room. The room we had was only surface cleaned, with no floors being done at all during our stay. Long hair on floors and in bathroom. Bedding archaic. Both had backache after 2nd night. No tv other than BBC World News on a constant loop. This is again misleading information, and different to what are selling points on the easytobook.com website. I will not use easytobook.com in future, as it is obviously their policy to mislead their customers.

Cons: Very small bathroom, smelly ? from blocked drain.

Pros: Staff were helpful where they coud be.
Cons: Our room was not available when we arrived. we were given a small twin room with no refigerator and a broken shower. the next day we had to explain what was wrong with our room. the web site had said that the room was a double with a minibar, discounted as a lastminute deal. we expected a room of better quality. this was disappointing as the advetising misled us to accept this offer.
